Sprats and anchovies are small fish from the herring family and belong to the group of forage fish. They offer a valuable combination of protein (58%) and Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (4.3%).
Sprats, in particular, are prized for their high nutritional value, containing elevated levels of essential fats such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These components are vital for a dog’s diet, supporting heart health, enhancing circulation, and contributing to overall well-being.
Our whole fish treats, like all DOGSLIKEFISH products, are handcrafted and gently dried in specialized ovens. This process helps retain 70–80% of the nutrients naturally present in the fish. We primarily use Baltic Sea sprats, which are carefully hand-sorted before drying to ensure consistent quality and safety for your pet.
