Elk Bone Broth for Dogs & Cats

Elk bone broth is a unique and rare addition to a pet’s diet. Elk (Alces alces) is a large wild herbivore known as moose in North America and as elk or moose in Northern Europe. Despite the different names, it is the same species with valuable nutritional properties.

Because most elk meat and bones are reserved for human consumption, this protein source is rarely found in pet products. Thanks to our trusted partners, we are able to make this exceptional ingredient available for dogs and cats.

Hokuō® bone broth is prepared using a traditional slow-simmering process, allowing nutrients to be gently extracted from the bones. The recipe contains no additives, flavour enhancers, or artificial ingredients.

The broth can be stored at room temperature until opened. When refrigerated after opening, it naturally thickens into a soft gel due to its collagen content.

Per 100 ml the broth contains:

• 2.93% protein

• 2.46% collagen

This means that more than 84% of the total protein is collagen, supporting joints, connective tissue and digestive health.
