The ingredients in this product help stimulate the release of digestive juices from the stomach, pancreas, and liver, while also providing hepatoprotective effects.

• Betaine Hydrochloride: Stimulates hydrochloric acid release in the stomach, aiding protein digestion. It lowers the stomach pH, which supports the denaturation of food proteins and increases the efficiency of protein digestion by pancreatic enzymes (Yago et al., 2013).

• Artichoke (Cynara Scolymus L): Used to support liver health and address gastric secretion disorders. Artichoke extract also possesses antioxidant properties and promotes bile secretion. It increases the bile acid content and stimulates bile flow into the small intestine.

• Licorice Extract: Promotes the secretion of pancreatic enzymes and offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and hepatoprotective effects. Licorice is beneficial for managing stomach ulcers and dyspeptic disorders.

• Liver Protectors:

  • Phospholipids: Help protect liver cells and reduce liver fibrosis.

  • Ornithine: Supports liver function by regulating the urea cycle, which is particularly important for cats. Ornithine helps reduce ammonia toxicity, making it especially useful for cats with suspected or diagnosed hepatic encephalopathy.
