Cod Liver Oil is extracted from the liver of young cod (Gadus morhua) and is a rich natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA), as well as vitamins D and A. It also contains essential trace elements like iodine and phosphorus.

Naturally occurring vitamin D plays a crucial role in promoting the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestines — vital for bone health and metabolic function.

Because dogs cannot produce sufficient vitamin D on their own, cod liver oil is an important addition to their diet to help ensure a balanced and healthy nutrient intake.

Vitamins derived from natural oils are also significantly more bioavailable than those in synthetic form, making them easier for the body to absorb and utilize.
