Wheat bran with added cinnamon can be used as a supplementary feed for all groups of horses and ponies. It is recommended for horses that are too thin, breeding horses
and those in training. It works great for horses in convalescence. Bran contains a relatively large amount of protein, and its amino acid profile is much more beneficial than that of oats, for example. Wheat bran is also valued in horse nutrition due to its valuable fiber, supports the passage of food through the intestines and is rich in B vitamins.

In its natural form, wheat bran contains a lot of phosphorus, which can adversely affect the balance of elements in the horse's body.
