Nuba Rice&Apple

Nuba Rice & Apple is a granulated supplementary feed made from rice bran and dried apple. It’s ideal for underweight horses, those in training, breeding horses, horses in recovery, and—in appropriate amounts—those prone to ulcers. The apple improves palatability, making it suitable even for picky eaters.

This blend provides:

• Lower protein, fat, sugar, and starch levels than pure rice bran
  (ESC 8.4%, starch 12.9%)

• A balanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio

• Added magnesium, copper, zinc, selenium, and vitamin E
  (Note: not a complete vitamin-mineral supplement)

Rice bran offers slowly released energy and supports muscle building through gamma oryzanol and rice oil. Apple pomace supplies digestible fiber, antioxidants, and pectins that can help soothe the stomach.

Feed dry or moistened, depending on the horse’s needs.
