Hemoglobin iron is most absorbed by carnivores such as dogs, cats and ferrets. These animals are poorly or completely unable to utilize iron from plant sources. Iron deficiency causes anemia and insufficient oxygen supply to the body. As a result of hypoxia, cells slow down their metabolism and die, and tissues cannot regenerate. The body suffocates and the animal loses strength.

Excessive use of iron can cause hemosiderosis - blood thickening. The high oxidative potential of iron found in food is mainly indicative of liver toxicity, which ultimately leads to inflammation and degeneration of this organ and increases the risk of cancer of this organ.

Hemoglobin doses should be adjusted to the animal's diet and needs.

hemoglobin 100% (from pig)

Analytical composition 100g:
protein 92%, moisture 5%, iron (Fe) 266mg/100g

Method of use: mixed with food or drinking water

Dosage:
for dogs 1-2g per week per 5 kg of body weight
cats 1g/5kg of body weight.
For self-prepared diets: according to calculated needs.
For animals with iron deficiency or after heavy blood loss, the dose of the product should be determined by the veterinarian.
Do not use in animals allergic to pork.
