Education:

Certified veterinarian - Ilze Petersone, in 1996 graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Latvian University of Agriculture, in 1999 she received a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Latvian University of Agriculture. For 16 years she worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and a small animal veterinarian at the Veterinary Medicine Education Center, now the Veterinary Clinic of the Latvian University of Agriculture.

Already during my studies, I was especially interested in small animal veterinary medicine, therefore, from 1997 to 1998, thanks to the International Association for Veterinary Support (Michigan, USA), I completed an internship in the external US program in internal medicine, endocrinology and ophthalmology. ...

Animal Ophthalmology Dr. Ilze Petersone received her advanced education at the European School of Advanced Veterinary Research in London and Toulouse in 2006 and 2007. From 2002 to 2003 she worked as a researcher A.I. Virtanen from the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Kupio University in Finland.

After working for a long time in veterinary medicine, doctor. Ilse Petersone more and more often had to deal with cases when traditional medicine did not give the expected results - the animals showed side effects from drugs, new symptoms of diseases. Wanting to help the animals recover, Ilse looked for new ways to treat them more naturally. Thanks to like-minded colleagues and the inspiring experience of family homeopath Dace Gail, in autumn 2009 Ilze began her studies in the first course in veterinary homeopathy in the Baltics, where she studied classical homeopathy under the guidance of HPTG (professional group of homeopathic teachers.).

In 2012, she completed her studies and after passing the exam she received the LFHom (Vet) degree.

I still continue to attend master classes, conferences on homeopathy, I am interested in and support the natural feeding of animals. (Raw food / feeding / Barf) I am a member of the Baltic Society of Veterinary Homeopathy and a member of the International Association of Veterinary Homeopathy (IAHV) and currently President.
